Utopia
they called it
more of a dystopia

we were stumbling
waiting for an
oasis mirage, a salvation

questioning our existence

questioning the future
formation of helium
and hydrogen as we
lay transfixed at what
may
lay beyond

Then

one eternity later

one unfathomable

indefinable

moment later
we were nothing more
than blasted bits
forsaken fossils
of moronic bliss

volatile
rag
dolls

centuries later
life still leaked from our pores
we slipped into dream cast eyes
reduced to fibrous beings
believe, we sighed in the breeze

incredulously...our words cluttered
the spaces of electrons!

That was the time
our dead remote
minds
still dreamed of
awakening
when our planet
still had hope

Now it is the temporal length of event
when the nuclear cloud
when the harsh mess
of skin, tissue, bone and decay
radiates to the injured hearts
and diseases them
in ways the world
could have somehow
maybe
turned away

eleventh hour gone
we told you what

is

coming

we told you to believe

Can you recognise the apocalypse?
No,
not the end of the world.

The uncovering.

Must have read/seen something before I fell asleep and forgot, because I was having some weird dreams, and then I came up with this XD
Yay :D

EDIT:Since people have been thinking about the story behind this, here goes:

There is-a sci fi theme of there having been some sort of race before the creation of the earth and sun etc-then the big bang, referenced by the 'blasted bits' paragraph, and because of this they were destroyed and reduced to little bits that fly around, and they have 'the knowledge' as all ancients do, they try to explain this but of course they are shown the ignorance of human kind 'our words cluttered the spaces of electrons' and then it is too late, and as the apocalypse is nigh, they tell them that you imagined the destruction of the world, it is basically the uncovering of a great secret that will change the world (because that is what apocalypse really means, uncovering of knowledge, however the destruction idea was taken from biblical ideas).

I would have made it into an actual story, cause I love the idea and I love writing, but I always give up on my stories and I felt I would write it better so to speak in poetry form ^^

This is so great. The flow of it makes me feel like it's being read to me in such a powerful and meaningful voice. A definite fav.
